Free Annual Credit Report
How often do you review your credit report? Have you look at it recently? To protect your identity and your credit, you should review your credit report at least twice a year. Click onto website, https://www.annualcreditreport.com, sponsored by Equifax, Experian, and Transunion to obtain a free copy.
Free Debt Counseling
Banks and credit card companies have turned you down. You do not understand why. You can request to speak with our loan officer at Newport News Neighborhood Federal Credit Union. The loan officer will provide a twenty minute counseling session at no charge. All debt counseling is by appointment only.
Bring to the counseling session a copy of your credit report, recent denial letter or application (if applicable).

Credit Union 24 ATM Locator
Credit Union ATM Cardholders can perform Electronic Funds Transactions (EFT) at any Credit Union 24 Network. Credit Union 24 Networks gives CU ATM Cardholders Surcharge-Free ATM transactions. To find a participating credit union, click onto http://www.cu24.com/ and select the ATM Locator tab. At the ATM Locator screen, enter zip code or state and check Surcharge –Free Program. A list of credit unions will appear. If you need the directions to the location, click onto the address.
HUD Homeownership Program
Peninsula Community Development Corporation (PCDC) is a program designed to assistance low –income and moderate families with purchasing their first home. The program offers HUD counseling, financing, and down payment assistance. Contact the program Co-coordinators, Michele Grant and Tina Vick.
